In total, the contract covers a Germany-wide portfolio of more than 3,700 buildings and more than 15,000 Packstations (pick-up locations). The two companies have signed a ten-year contract to this effect.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, all of the approximately 850 employees who were previously responsible for managing the portfolio in a joint venture will transfer to Apleona. The employees&#8217; employment relationships and all individual contractual arrangements will remain unchanged. They will work exclusively for the Apleona key account DHL in the International Corporate Clients (ICC) division.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Jochen Keysberg, CEO of Apleona: &#8220;The long-term service contract is a significant vote of confidence from the DHL Group in our performance and in our many years of experience and expertise in the successful transfer of client company employees to customer accounts and the retention of their knowledge and experience for our customers.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Engel, COO of Apleona and responsible for the ICC key account business, among other things, says: \u201cThe DHL Group was looking for an FM service partner who could guarantee the high quality and exclusivity of the FM services throughout Germany. This is both an honour and a challenge, but one that we will be able to meet successfully.
