The portfolio under management comprises 69 locations including breweries, logistics and administration buildings with 3.2 million square meters of useful space in total. The service agreement was concluded on December 1, 2018, and will run for five years with the option of an extension. It was preceded by a Europe-wide invitation to tender. It was agreed not to disclose the volume of the contract.<\/p>\n<p>With this new contract, Apleona is continuing to successfully expand its business involving the management of owner-occupied spaces of international industrial companies. Dr. Jochen Keysberg, CEO of Apleona, commented as follows: \u201cAn increasing number of corporations are looking for international solutions for managing their real estate and properties from a single source with the same quality for all locations. A demand that we successfully meet with our International Corporate Clients business unit and in which we will continue to experience strong growth in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The management contract for AB InBev starts in three phases. In Belgium and Germany plus the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg, Apleona has already been active since December. Starting from Q1 2019 onwards the United Kingdom and Switzerland will follow. The evaluation of the locations in Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy, Russia, and Ukraine are to follow as of the third quarter of 2019. Apleona delivers most of the services itself with teams from Apleona\u2019s national companies. Additionally, approximately 60 employees from the previous service provider were taken on for managing locations in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands on December 1. As an integrated service provider, Apleona performs and manages services for AB InBev such as maintenance and servicing of the technical facilities, commercial cleaning, maintenance of green and common areas, catering, reception, security, and location services. The Europe-wide portfolio is managed via a uniform reporting system based on internationally defined KPIs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_one_third  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding   avia-builder-el-4  el_after_av_two_third  avia-builder-el-last  \" style='border-radius:0px;
