Deutsche Fußball-Bund e. V. (DFB), together with its energy contracting partner Mainova AG, has commissioned the real estate service provider Apleona with the operation and integrated facility management of the new DFB campus in Frankfurt, which is almost completed.
Apleona Wolfferts has been commissioned to provide heating, cooling, ventilation and fire safety for the latest expansion stage of parcel service provider United Parcel Service (UPS)’s freight and transshipment center at Cologne Bonn Airport.
Apleona is taking over Siemens Gebäudemanagement & -Services, a hard services company in Austria with sales of some EUR 75 million.
The takeover speeds up Apleona’s growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the 2nd quarter.
Apleona Real Estate Management is the first property manager to join the ESG Circle of Real Estate (ECORE). The aim of the initiative, which was established by Bell Management Consultants in 2020 and now has over 150 members, is to develop and establish a resilient, marketable industry standard to measure the sustainability performance of real estate and portfolios.
